Shaun “Banger” Scott is a foundational figure in the UK electronic scene with a career spanning four decades. Widely recognized as the Godfather of Bassline, Shaun’s influence was cemented during the 90s as a leading resident at Sheffield’s legendary Niche All-nighter and as one of only three residents for the House super-brand, Federation.
His production discography is equally prestigious, with releases on every major label under aliases like SBS, High Jinx, and The Barkin Brothers. Alongside Tony Walker (Love 2 Be), he produced the iconic "Gordon’s Groove"—hailed by Virgin Records as one of the biggest-selling bootlegs in history. His commercial success peaked in 2008 with the Sound of Bassline compilation, which sold over 200,000 copies.
Shaun continues to bridge the gap between underground bass culture and classic house, performing at major festivals like Bassfest and Fearfest, Wentfest,90s Fest while maintaining a global presence through his international radio shows
