About Alan Jay
Born in Bolton Lancashire in the days of Black & White TV, before Microwaves, Steam Irons and Wi-Fi I first started working as a Mobile DJ in 1970 working in bars, clubs & pubs! In 1977 I had a short time working on Outside Broadcasts at 261 Picadilly Radio in Manchester and got involved in other stations in the North West of England! I moved to Spain in 2016 and finally joined Fresh Radio in 2023 a far cry from the land of Pigeons & Pasties but now Fresh Radio is a big part of my life!
