Seventy-five migrants have reached the shores of the Balearic Islands this weekend, arriving on six small boats intercepted by maritime rescue teams and the Guardia Civil.
The first boat was spotted at three thirty in the morning, with additional interceptions reported throughout the day.
Four boats carrying a total of sixty-three individuals arrived in Formentera.
So far this year, two hundred and thirty-seven vessels have reached the islands, carrying at least four thousand four hundred and thirty-one migrants, predominantly from North Africa and Sub-Saharan regions.
