The president of the Generalitat Valenciana – Carlos Mazón – has requested an urgent meeting with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
It’s understood the meeting is to discuss strategies for coordinating reconstruction efforts following last Octobers deadly floods.
Mazón has expressed concern about the lack of communication with the national government, asserting that it is crucial for there to be direct coordination in order to address the extensive damage.
He suggested the meeting could take place at the Palau de la Generalitat, offering his availability to Mr. Sanchez at the earliest convenience.
Last Octobers flooding was the worst in recent history, leaving 228 people dead.
