Partido Popular has said it will only pursue parliamentary agreements if it fails to achieve an absolute majority, ruling out a coalition agreement with Vox if they gain enough seats in the Congress of Deputies.

New party spokesperson Ester Muñoz stated that they aim for a stable independent government without the support of the far-right Vox party.

Meanwhile, Vox’s Pepa Millán cautions the PP against making assumptions about future elections, saying also that the current government situation is unstable.

Muñoz also rejected Vox’s proposal for mass deportations of illegal migrants, emphasising adherence to legal frameworks.
