Spain’s Agency for Food Safety has issued an alert concerning Listeria found in several Brie and Camembert cheeses imported from France.
Consumers in Spain are advised not to consume affected products and seek medical attention if symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea, or fever arise.
The affected products, which are under scrutiny, include the ‘Brie Meule’ and ‘Camembert du caractere vieux porche’.
These cheeses have been distributed across various regions including Andalucía, Aragón, Cantabria, Cataluña, the Balearic Islands, Madrid, Murcia, Valencia, and the Basque Country.
Additional redistributions to other regions are also possible.
