The owners of two Murcia nightclubs which were involved in a devastating fire incident that resulted in the loss of thirteen lives have declined to provide testimony in court.
They face charges of involuntary manslaughter for the fire which also left 24 people injured.
Investigations continue as lawyers for the victims call for an expansion of the inquiry over potential worker rights violations.
The fire which broke out in the early hours of the 1st October 2023 was the deadliest nightclub fire since 1990.
