Four Irish nationals have been arrested by Guardia Civil on the Costa Blanca on suspicion of running a drug smuggling operation.
Nearly eighty five kilos of cocaine hidden in industrial machinery was seized, along with cannabis resin linked to the gang.
Two guns were also confiscated during the operation, following the start of investigations earlier this month.
The arrests took place in Orihuela Costa and San Miguel de Salinas, with the suspects subsequently released on bail as investigations continue.
