Christmas lottery tickets go on sale

Now it may seem like the height of summer, but tickets for this year’s Christmas Lottery – el Gordo – have already gone on sale.

€2.8 billion in prizes will be awarded in the draw which will take place on the 22nd December.

The first prize this year totals 4 million euros.

You can now find tickets at lottery shops across the country.
