Spain boasts a higher education enrolment rate of 20% among fifteen to nineteen year olds, nearly double the OECD and EU 25 averages of 11%.
According to the OECD’s ‘Education Panorama 2025’ report, it indicates that 39% access higher education through vocational training, significantly higher than the OECD’s sixteen per cent.
Additionally, the female participation rate in higher education has increased, now making up 54% of students.
