Spain’s Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, has defended his innocence in a fraud case involving Alberto González Amador, the partner of Madrid’s regional president.
In a document submitted to the court, he claims no criminal conduct occurred and requests the absolution of himself and others involved.
He’s facing investigation following the leaking of sensitive information related to the case.
Mr. Ortiz denies any involvement in criminal conduct and asserts that the allegations against him do not constitute a penal offence. .
