Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has met with UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in London, focusing on economic partnerships and the Gibraltar agreement.
Both leaders signed a memorandum during their meeting at 10 Downing Street aimed at enhancing cooperation in key areas such as gender equality and sustainable development.
Sánchez praised Starmer for successfully concluding a fundamental agreement regarding Gibraltar, set to facilitate future relations post-Brexit.
This meeting marks the first bilateral visit by a Spanish Prime Minister to the UK in seven years, highlighting a renewed commitment to cooperation amid ongoing international challenges.
