Junts party members have overwhelmingly endorsed the leadership’s decision to end their collaboration with PSOE, with nearly eighty-seven percent voting in favour.
This move leaves the government without a parliamentary majority – raising concerns of a snap General Election.
The internal vote reflects discontent over unmet agreements, including the amnesty law.
However Junts leader – Carles Puigdemont – ruled out any political collaboration with PP to trigger a confidence vote, saying instead the party should follow it’s own political agenda.
