The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory and former Regional President of the Canary Islands – Ángel Víctor Torres – has said that a report by the Guardia Civil reveals no criminal activity involving himself, or the Canarian Government that he led.
In a press conference yesterday, he condemned defamatory attacks from Partido Popular, saying that the report officially cleared him of accusations linked to the Koldo Case.
During his statement he said the report brings to a close over a year and a half of political pressure.
Mr. Torres announced he intends to launch legal action against Víctor de Aldama for breaching privacy laws as well as defamation.
