Further protests were held across the Valencian region last night calling for the resignation of the regional government, new elections and the imprisonment of the former regional president Carlos Mazón.
The protest marks the anniversary of the initial demonstration held a year prior following October 2024’s deadly flooding that left 229 people dead.
Meanwhile the secretary general of Vox – Ignacio Garriga – has stated that his party intends to negotiate in private with PP regarding the leadership change in Valencia.
In a press conference over the weekend, he said that the negotiations would not be impacted by external groups or the media.
